William Haslam Cropper was baptised in Carlton on Trent, Nottinghamshire, on the 31st August 1831 [1]
He appeared on the 1841 census in North Clifton, Nottinghamshire with his father and step-mother. His father was the miller in North Clifton at that time [2]
Occupation: Flour miller, cattle broker, cattle dealer.
