In 1870, she was living with her youngest daughter Julia Ann (Tortellet) Chapman in Huron. Both appeared to be widowed as their husbands were not on the census.[4]
She passed away 01 Aug 1879 in Huron, Wayne county, Michigan.[5]
Research Questions
The 1840 census for the family indicated there were more daughters than the two identified. Did the other daughters die young or did they marry?
