The John Crouch Jr. of Boone's Creek, Tennessee, son of John Sr. and Sarah, was born 1756, but he is not the same one who appears in Sussex Co., Va. or Wilkes Co., NC. Nor is he the one who was in the Prince William Co., Va. militia in 1781, nor the one who lived in Va. in 1836.

I don't believe Susannah Williams married THIS John Crouch, Jr. This John was b. 1756 and had children starting in the early 1780s. The marriage of this Susannah and her husband John Crouch is recorded in Pittsylvania Co., VA on October 20,1794. At that time, THIS John Crouch was long-settled in Washington Co., TN.
