John was born in 1878 in TX, the son of Joshua & Mildred (Henry) Crow

He married as his first wife Ellen Patrick who died in 1910 - their children were Horace Ray, Robbie Minnie & Josh G.

After the death of Ellen he married Lillie Catherine Anglin, daughter of Thomas W. & Sarah (Phelps) Anglin and had Anna, Dorothy Mildred & Joe Madison

He died in TX and was buried at Cotton, OK
