Marshall was born in 1869. He was the son of Amos Crow and Amy Butterfield.He lived with his parents in Floyd Township, Warren, Illinois in 1870.[1] They were still there in 1880, though he now had siblings. [2]
Marshall died on 7 April 1948 in Dodge, Nebraska, United States.[3]
