DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:

Crow-1587 and Crow-1309 maybe the same person, but until Crow-1587 has sources, it is not ready to be merged. I don't know if Crow-1587 married the same person that Crow-1309 married.

Crow-1587 and Crow-1309 appear to represent the same person because: Crow-1587 and Crow-1309 appear to represent the same person because: Coincident birth data, geography; Crow-1587 is unsourced.

I think you should reconsider. There is no mention of Ohio (the state) as a death place for George Philip Crow. He died in Ohio County, West Virginia, which at that time was part of the state of Virginia (it wasn’t split out from Virginia until 1861). In any case, the location of the death of William’s father should not predicate the validity of the merge because the merge, as proposed, is for William. Clearly these two profiles are for the same person.

Crow-1587 and Crow-1309 do not appear to represent the same person because: Crow-1309 father died in WV not in OH and since Crow-1587 does not show who his wife is and there is no information. I reject this merged
