Mattie Era Crowder was born on April 6, 1908 in Soper, Choctaw County, Oklahoma.[1] She was the daughter of Richard C. Crowder and Ellen Kelly. She was Native American, of the Choctaw Tribe. At age 1, in 1910, She was in her parent's home in Oakes, Choctaw County, Oklahoma, along with her brother, William-6.[2] She was also in their home at age 11, in 1920.[3]
She was listed as Mattie Era Cutler on August 25 of 1981.
