Family notes indicate Daniel is the first Crow ancestor in America and that he left England due to "difficulties with the law". He originally resided in Orange Cty Virginia before moving to Ky. He and Anne were members of the Log Lick Baptist Church 1812-1818 in Clark Cty. He was excused from paying his taxes in 1812-1818 due to his advanced age. He was still in the tax lists in 1820-1822
