Paul Crowell was born April 20, 1687, the son of John Crowell and Bethia Sears of Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts[1][2][3]
On October 21, 1714, he married Elizabeth Hallett, the daughter of Jonathan Hallett and Abigail Dexter of Yarmouth[2][3], and they lived in Yarmouth, then moved to Chatham circa 1717[4]. Their children included:
Abigail, born September 13, 1715, who married Joseph Collins[2]
Paul, born April 4, 1717, who married Rebecca Paine, Reliance Cobb and Mehitable (Snow) Rider [2]
Jonathan, born February 25, 1718, who married Anna Collins, daughter of John on July 13, 1738[2]
On February 25, 1724/5, Paul Crowell married Margery Hall, the daughter of Joseph Hall and Hannah Miller of Yarmouth[2][3], and their children included:
Elizabeth, born April 7, 1726, who married Hezekiah Doane, son of Elisha[2]
David, born August 3, 1730/1, who married Thankful Atwood, daughter of James[2]
Captain Paul Crowell died Oct. 11, 1765[2], and is buried in the Chatham Old Burial Ground, Chatham, Barnstable County, Massachusetts[3]
