Biography

Mehitable Crowell was born on 03 Sep 1691 in Yarmouth, Barnstable, Massachusetts as the fourth child of John Crowell Jr and Bethia Sears. She had eight siblings, namely: Joseph, Paul, Bethia, John, Deborah, Christopher, Elizabeth, and Mercy(Mary). When she was 21, she married John Ryder,son of John Ryder and Hester Hall, on 20 May 1713. She died on 26 Mar 1766 in Chatham, Barnstable, Massachusetts during the smallpox epidemic. 17 family members died in a 3 month period.
