Henry Darley Crozier was born 31 May 1837 in County Dublin, Ireland to Thomas Crozier and Mary (Darley) Crozier. He was baptized in the Parish of Saint George in County Dublin on 8 Jun 1837, at which time he resided at No 2 Rutland Square.[1]
Henry Darley Crozier, son of Thos Crozier, married Alice Emily Darley, daughter of Henry F Darley, on 26 Apr 1866 in Monkstown, Rathdown, Ireland.[2] The marriage was registered in Rathdown.[3]
Henry and Alice had five sons: Thomas Henry Crozier (1868-1948), Frank D Crozier (1872-), Arthur Harry Crozier (1873-1940), Henry Darley Crozier (1875-), and Cecil Darley Crozier (1877-1962). The eldest was born in Ireland, the next two in Gibralter, and the youngest two in England.
In 1881 Henry D Crazier [Crozier] (age 43, Major Royal Engeers Arct) lived at Park St in Wilton, Somerset with his wife Alice E (39) and four sons: Frank D (8, Scholar), Arthur H (7, Scholar), Henry Dorling [Darley] (5, Scholar), and Cidal Dorling [Cecil Darley] (3), as well as three servants: Caroline Cooksley (31), Pauline J Granger (20), and Mary A Granger (16).[4] His eldest son, Thomas (13, Scholar), was staying in Taunton St Mary Magdalen in the household of Thomas Berry.

In 1891 Henry Darley Crozier was in the London Electoral Register - he lived at Royal Arsenal in Plumstead North-East District, Borough of Woolwich, London.[5]
From at least 1895 to 1904 Henry Darley Crozier lived at 14 Morden road, Kidbrooke Polling District, Borough of Greenwich, London.[6]
In 1901 Henry D Crozier (age 63, Major General (Retired) R E Chief Engineering Inspector Local Government Boards) lived at Morden Road in Charlton and Kidbrooke, London with his wife Alice E (60), son Henry D (25, Solicitor), and three servants: Agnes M Devenish (16, Housemaid), Lilian Blake (24, Parlourmaid), and Anna Hills (34, Cook).[7]
From 1905 to 1911 Henry Darley Crozier lived at 11 Shooters Hill Road, South-East Greenwich District.[8]
In 1911 Henry Darley Crozier (age 73, Major Genl Royal Engineer) lived at 11 Shooters Hill Road, Blackheath, Kent with his wife Alice Emily (70) and son Cecil Darley (33, Captain Royal Garrison Artillery).[9]
Henry D Crozier passed away on 11 Jun 1911, aged 74 years. His death was registered in Greenwich, London in the second quarter of the year.[10]
