Welcome to WikiTree :) In my humble opinion, it's the best place to make connections near and far! I hope you have a great experience here on our site. If I can help in any way, please feel free to send me a message. Happy researching!
Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having. How is your experience with Wikitree going? If you have questions regarding Gedcoms, here's the link to the GEDCOM help category: GEDCOMS
The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.
Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.
Hi George Welcome to WikiTree thank you for Volunteering to Help Grow our World Wide Family Tree by adding your Branches
You are now a Member of the WikiTree Community George but please note we are trying to build one Worldwide Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person so please look for duplicates before you add any Profiles to WikiTree
Everything on WikiTree is a Collaborative Work in Progress so dont forget to read and sign our Honor Code its what keeps WikiTree a Friendly and Helpful Community good luck with your search
As an irregular hobby in the past few years, I have amassed a fair amount of details on my family history.
Families = CRUICKSHANK, HENRY, RENNIE, SMITH, etc. rooted in North East Scotland, mostly farmers in the parish of Cruden.
I am now starting to post these details on the WikiTree website and it would be interesting to see what remote connections are found.
As a guest, you can search for your ancestors and participate in G2G, where you can ask questions that you didn't find an answer to in WikiTree Help (see the "Help" drop-down menu at upper right–for additional links that may be of use, please click my name and check out the links I list under my "Greeter" section–especially the Sources links and the links to my fellow greeters Debby and Maggie, who also have helpful information on their profile pages).
If you would like to join WikiTree, and help with our mission of one tree, please read the Honor Code, volunteer, and post a comment on your profile page; we'll be glad to add you to the WikiTree community.
