"Cheatham Lockett - Mary J. Lockett, widow of Cheatham was of Hallsboro, Chesterfield County in 1879. Before her marriage she was Mary J. Crump, daughter of Thos. Crump, dec'd. He [Cheatham?] died in Chesterfield abt. 12 Mar. 1868."
Mary Jane is not listed in the 1850 census with W. Cheatham Lockett.
With W. C. Lockett in Family 168 Northern District, Pg. 20, 1860 U. S. Census of Chesterfield County. Her age appears to be 52.
Appears with Alonzo H. Lockette, Family 994, First Revenue District, pg. 121, 1870 U. S. Census of Chesterfield County. Her age is 60.
