Biography

Dr. William Crump served as a Minister to Chile under President James K. Polk . [1] He married Maria Moody and they settled on the plantation known as Let Lone. Among their children are:

  • George Tucker, m. Sallie Battle Bowen, dau. of William A. and Ellen Bowen, on 30 Apr 1867
  • Octavia

In 1850, the children of their daughter Virginia Trueheart was living in the household.
