Elizabeth Crump
Elizabeth is said to ave been born in 1754 at Bedford County, Virginia.[citation needed] She was a daughter of William Crump of Bedford County, Virginia (Pg 196).[1]
Elizabeth's profile was disconnected from the profile for William Crumb as her father. There is the name difference, Crump vs Crumb, the date problem: William died in 1746, and Elizabeth was not born until 1754. Also, the Crumb daughter named Elizabeth married a Saunders, not a Mead.
Elizabeth married in 1775 to John Mead, son of Col. William Mead and his first wife, Ann Haile.[1]
Children of Elizabeth and John:[1]
These children are not mentioned in the article as children of John and Elizabeth Mead:
When John's father, Col. William Mead, removed to Augusta Georgia in 1785, most of his family accompanied him.[1] John and Elizabeth were living there before 1795, as the birth of their youngest, John Hays, was recorded at Augusta.
John died in 1798, only about 43 years old, at Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia; he received mortal wounds while trying to arrest a "desparado" for murder of a man named Perry.[1] Although John was register of Probate for Richmond County, no will was found registered there, or anywhere else.[1]
John's father, Col. William Mead, died December 30, 1805 at Augusta, Georgia, leaving vast land holdings in Virginia and around Augusta to the children of his first wife.[1]
Elizabeth, removed to Nanclause, Green County, Georgia to be with her children, and she died there in 1813.[1] No will was found.[1]

Not sure where she does belong ... but it does not seem to be in this family. Thanks!
