Biography

James and his younger brother William married the Walton sisters. Eliza and Mary. At one time they both lived on the Joseph Culberson farm . James lived on the portion of the property on the east side of the Presque Isle stream and William on the West side. Later James bought the Gus Upton farm in Avondale and moved there.

He was buried on 18 Feb 1920. Buried in Waterville United Baptist Cemetery.
