Martha Rena Zook (1888-1964) married Dewayne Dewey Culp (1889-1970) on 22 Mar 1915 in Elkhart County, Indiana, and they had one known child, a daughter named Irene, born on 2 April 1927 in Nappanee, Elkhart County, Indiana.
Irene died on 19 December 2003 at Memorial Hospital in McPherson County, Kansas, and was buried in McPherson Cemetery.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. today (22 December) at First Presbyterian Church in McPherson, with the Rev. Jennifer Blake officiating. Burial was in McPherson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, American Heart Association or American Lung Association, in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
Mrs. Bellomy was born April 2, 1927, the daughter of Dewayne D. and Martha R. Zook Culp. She married Wilbur Loucks December 1941. They divorced. She married Lern E. Prickett June 25, 1949. They divorced. She then married Fred Bellomy May 5, 1967. He died Sept. 23, 1981.
She was a retired electronics assembly worker and jewelry crafter and formerly lived in Mesa, Ariz. She lived in McPherson since 1986.
Survivors include three sons, Phillip E. Prickett and wife Rebecca of West Burlington, Stephen I. Prickett and wife Beverly of Mount Pleasant and Marlo A. Prickett and wife Diane of Danville; three daughters, Grace A. Bogart and husband Don of Cedar Rapids, Rhonda R. Martin and husband Rod of McPherson and West Bend, Wis., and Patricia I. Hart and husband Jamey of McPherson; one sister, Ada Bender of Eudora, Kan.; 29 grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters; and one great-grandson.
