Martha married Benjamin Franklin Keeney (1865-1935) on 23 October 1886 in Eugene, Lane, Oregon as his 1st wife. They divorced before 4 June 1900 when he states he was divorced, having been married 13 years, on the United States Federal Census. That would give a divorce date of 1899.
Children of the Keeney-Cummings Marriage
Hugh Cummings Keeney was born on 9 June 1892 in Lane County, Oregon, United States. He married 1) Jessie Emery Askew (1896-1951) in 1913 and 2) Myrtle Bell Munroe (1880-1957) in 1921. Hugh died on 20 December 1973 in The Dalles, Wasco, Oregon, United States.
Hobart Sellwood Keeney was born on 16 August 1897 in Oregon, United States. He married Verna Blanche Hite (1904-1969), widow of William Schweizer (1901-1945), on 2 September 1958. Hobart died on 4 February 1972 in Saint Helens, Columbia, Oregon, United States.
