Biography
The question is: who was the father of William A Cunningham? No one seems to know, and after many hours of searching for a possibility through the Census records, I got lucky and discovered the answer.
The 1860 Census misspells Cunningham with one "n" (Cuningham). We find William 7, living with his older brother Phillip (P Cuningham in the 1860 census) and his wife Elizabeth. At 22, it was clear Phillip could not be the father of William 7.
Going to David Cunningham in 1850 census, we find him living in Jefferson, Jackson, Arkansas with family. There is a Phillip, 12, Susan 3, James 7, confirming the identity of the William, who was not born when the 1850 census was taken.
Therefore, it appears that David and Catherine (Misener) Cunningham had both died before the 1860 census and the care of the children had been given to Phillip and his wife Elizabeth to raise. The father of William A Cunningham is David Cunningham.

I do not believe this David Cunningham is the son of Joseph Cunningham. Joseph had a son named David, but the dates don't match up. Further, Phoebe Fine was married to Joseph, which is backed up by documentation. She cannot have been married to David also. That said, I am removing David's connection to both Phoebe and Joseph.
