As Margaret married on 20 Nov 1546 one can infer her birth prior to 20 Nov 1534.

As her father married his first wife Catherine Borthwick, daughter of Sir William Borthwick, 2nd Lord Borthwick before 10 July 1509 and Margaret was born before the marriage 1506 seems the correct birthdate.
