↑Giles pedigree in Visitation of Lancashire, does not assert that he's a son of this Thomas, but it does say he descends from the Curwens of Workington. O'Hart's (1892), pedigree does not mention Giles either.[2] It's actually his grandson, the antiquarian and historian William Camden, who writes in Britannia that Giles' dau. Elizabeth descended from the Culwens of Galloway.
