Biography
Bridget Curzon was born in 1535.
Bridget was the daughter of Thomas Curzon of Croxall and his second wife Elizabeth, the daughter of Richard Lygon of co Worcester.[1]
Bridget's father had previously been married to the daughter of Sir John Ashton, knight,[1] with whom he had a daughter:
Joyce, who was married to George Appleby of co Leicester.[1]
Bridget had five full siblings:
George Curzon of Croxhall, esq, who married Catherine, daughter of Rowland Babington of Normanton;[1]
Dorothy who was married to John Mynne of Horton co Surrey;[1]
Frances who was married to William Harwar in co Leic;[1]
Agnes who was married to Nicholas Backhouse of London;[1] and
Mawde, who was married to 1) Nicholas Tatton, Cheshire, and 2) Christopher Horton, gent.[1]
Bridget was married to Thomas Burdett of Brampton, Warwickshire.[1]
