He was contracted to be married to Katherina, daughter of Rowland Babyngton of Atlow, Derbyshire, on 20 October 1536, when he was 6 years old.[3]
George succeeded his father, Thomas, who died 30 March, 1541.[2]
George married Katherine, the daughter of Rowland Babington,[2] of Normanton.[1]
George and Katherine had children:
Sir George Curzon of Croxhall, Kt, eldest son, aged 14 in 1569, died 1622, married Mary, the daughter of Sir Richard Levison, of Lillshull, co Salop,[1] and sister and heir to Sir Walter Levison;[2]
Elizabeth Curzon,[1] daughter of Sir George Curzon of Croxall, and relict of Thomas Leigh of Egginton, was in June, 1592, married to Sir Francis Coke of Trusley, Knt, widower of Frances, daughter of Denzell Holles, and son and heir of Richard Coke.[4] Elizabeth and Francis had seven children, the first born on 29 March, 1594, and the last sometime after February, 1601.[4] Elizabeth died on 24 August, 1632.[4]
There was a monumental slab erected in Croxall St John Baptist church, in memory of George Curzon of Croxal, esq, which says he died in March year not stated and his wife Katherine died in August 1605.[2][5]

Not sure where his birthdate comes from, but it makes him just 14 when his son is born, which is unlikely. It also doesn't align with his sibling's birthdates.
