Biography
Elizabeth Cutler, the daughter of Edmund and Isabel Cutler was born on May 14, 1680, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, according to the Middletown Monthly Meeting records. (1) There seems to be some confusion about the birth dates and places of the Cutler children. A second record of births from the Middletown Monthly Meeting lists her brother Thomas as being born on the same date, May 14, 1680, but in England. However, his birth date is also recorded as later in the same records. (2) Elizabeth's burial took place only 14 years later on the "15th of the 10th month 1694," according to the Philadelphia Monthly Meeting records. (3)
