Research Notes

There may be two Thomas Dakins here, or just one. Christening records indicate a 1626 birth for this profile. Family history indicates a birth date for 1624 for the other Thomas (Dakin-15), who was married to Sarah. Research required to confirm or deny that these two are the same person, if not, this one should be disconnected from wife, Sarah and from listed death date.

Husband of Sarah passed away in 1708.[4][5]

These two sources appear to be for siblings of this Thomas Dakin:

This source for possible daughter, Sarah

Dakin-551 and Dakin-15 are not ready to be merged because: Apparent evidence for both birthdates could mean there are two Thomas Dakins here. Or, the family history birthdate from profile Dakin-15 could be incorrect.

Dakin-551 and Dakin-15 appear to represent the same person because: details must be sorted, but this appears to be a merge

Mel, Sara (Slater) Dakin died 18 Oct 1659. Does it seem likely that this was the Thomas Dakin who married Susan Straton, widdow on 11 Jun 1660? See Tolman, George. Concord, Massachusetts Births, Marriages, and Deaths, 1635-1850 (Beacon Press, Boston, Mass., 1895) Page 9. https://archive.org/details/concordmassachus00conc/page/8/mode/2up.

If yes to above, then John b. 20 Mar 1661 was a son. See p 10 of above source.
