Biography

Joseph M was born in May 1869 in North Carolina.[1]

When Joseph M was about 21 he married Alena V Dale in 1891. The couple had 9 children:

Bessie A Dale,
Thiam Dale,
Polly Dale,
Marion Dale,
Essie T Dole,
Joseph Dole,
Robert D Dole,
Ethel Dole and
Samuel Dole.[1]

In the 1900 census Joseph M (age 31) was living in Silver Creek Township, Precinct 2, Burke, North Carolina.[1]

He was burned to death in his home.They think he put another log in the wood burning stove and went back to bed.

Joseph M. Dale and Joseph Marion Dale are the same person, but the "M" does not stand for Marion. And he is FULL brother to Robert Jackson Dale, Tooloolar Dale, Donnie Yeahoolar Dale, Georgia Dale, Elizabeth (Betty) Dale, and Jacob Adam Dale, their mother having been Rachael Louisa Whitley.

Joseph M. Dale is half brother to Will C. Deal, Molt A. Deal, H. Greer Deal, S. Pence Deal, and Jim F. Deal, their mother having been Liza Jane Johnson.
