Biography

William Wright Dale was born in the second quarter of 1883. ^[2] His parents were Wright C and Margaret Dale. ^[3]

William Wright Dale married Maud Ethel Lloyd in the third quarter of 1906 in Lambeth, London, England. ^[4]

William Wright Dale divorced Maud Ethel Lloyd on 10th August 1932 after she had returned to England from Australia. ^[5]

William Wright Dale married Elcie Irene Giltrow on 13th January 1934 at the Registry Office, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia^[6]

William Wright Dale died on 8th August 1941 at Port Adelaide, South Australia, Australia^[7]

   Decrees Nisi Made Absolute

   A decree nisi for dissolution of his marriage was granted to William Wright Dale, printer, of Edwardstown, on September 9. 1929. Yesterday he applied to the Banco Court, presided over by Mr. Justice Richards and Mr. Justice Piper, to have the decree made absolute. In explanation of the delay in making the application, it was stated that Dale was under the impression that he could apply at any time. An affidavit was filed stating that the wife of the applicant had returned to England. The applicant, who was indebted for certain legal costs, did not wish to incur further liability. The decree was made absolute. Mr. J. W. Nelligan appeared for Dale.
