Alice Isabella Dalton was born on August 10, 1894 in Elora, Wellington, Ontario Canada. She was the daughter of Harry Dalton and Isabella Black.[1]. She immigrated to the United States, and settled in Troy, New York where she raised her family and resided until her death in 1967.[2]. Prior to her death, Alice had become partially blind, however she became fully blind while waiting for a bus in Downtown Troy. She died in October of 1967, as her daughter in law Janice Richmond recalls there being skeleton decorations on windows. [3][4]
