Biography
Alexander Gibson was born on March 7 1870 in Pictou, Nova Scotia to James Dalton and Elizabeth MacDonald.[1]On Sept 15, 1902, he married Ada Mabel Joudrey. [2]They had six children together. According to Alexander’s death record his occupation was a Brass Moulder. He died in Riverton, Pictou Co., Nova Scotia on Sept 30, 1952.[3]

Over 30 years ago, when I first started researching our family tree, my grand-dad Johnson nicknamed Skinny Dalton talked about his dad Alexander Dalton playing the fiddle and dancing in the streets of Pictou. He was very proud of that. So am I., his great grandson.
