I would love more information on Sylvanus W Dame and his ancestors/possible siblings in Ossipee. I have been unable to find a birth record or a marriage record for him and Mary Carter Dame. Their first child was born in 1838, so I would estimate their marriage to be between 1830 - 1837?
Massachusetts Death records indicate Mary (Carter) Dame was born September 28, 1812 at Exeter, New Hampshire. Her parents were Gideon Carter and Hannah Gilman. Mary died October 3, 1913 at Methuen, Massachusetts [3]
