Biography

Dorothy was born January 19, 1928.[1]

Dorothy V Danforth was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at 4605 11th Avenue North, Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama for the April 12, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1928 in Alabama and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Charles E Danforth, wife Esther R Danforth, daughter Sarah F Danforth and son Charles E Danforth Jr.[2]

On April 1, 1935, Dorothy D Danforth lived at 4605 11th Avenue North, Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama.[3]

Dorothy D Danforth was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at 4605 11th Avenue North, Tract 5, Birmingham, Election Precinct 34, Jefferson County, Alabama for the April 8, United States Census, 1940. She was noted as born 1928 in Alabama and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Charles E Danforth, wife Ester R Danforth and son Charles E Danforth.[3]

She signed "that which was not so" on her marriage license registration by signing that she was 18 when she was only 17 in her 1945 Alabama Marriage to G I Anderson and shown in the original image.[4]

She was pregnant in 1951 yet separated from her husband who had already left her.[5]

She was divorced September 5, 1951.[5]

She found a man to finance her and convinced him the new child was his? They were married September 29, 1951.[5]

This child was born six months and two weeks later.[5]

She moved in 1952 and lived until November 1961 in a small new house at 113 Vetavia Street in small town called Irondale. This was in Jefferson County, part of the Birmingham, Alabama metropolitan area.[5]

She learned in 1962 that her father had remarried and was told that her father had made his will eliminating her as an heir and naming his new family as the heir to his property.[5]

The death of one of two childless aunts (her mother's sister) in 1987 gave her the first clue that her maternal relatives didn't care much for her lifelong abuse of others either when the first of these aunts passed away without bequeathing a cent on Dorothy.[5]

The death of the second of two childless aunts (her mother's sister) in 1992 gave her the second and final clue that her maternal relatives didn't care much for her lifelong abuse of others either when the last of these aunts passed away without bequeathing a cent on Dorothy either.[5]

In 1998 her oldest daughter likely committed suicide as revenge for her having stolen the former's prescription medicine.[5]

Dorothy V Piazza is listed as dying per a record of the January 21, 2002 United States Social Security Death Index. She had received her Social Security number in California. Her last place of residence is noted as Jefferson, Alabama.[1]

Dorothy Danforth Piazza is buried at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, Shelby County, Alabama.[6]
