Biography

Sarah E Danforth was enumerated at 10 dist Campbell County, Georgia for the November 1, United States Census, 1850. She was noted as born in 1850 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John C Danforth, female Lucinda E Danforth, male Alsirey V Danforth, male Wm Danforth, female Mary Danforth and male John Brown.[1]

Sarah E Danforth was enumerated at Post Office Campbellton, Campbell County, Georgia for the July 31, United States Census, 1860. She was noted as born 1850 as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male John C Danforth, female Antonett Danforth and female Elery V Danforth.[2]On the following page of the 1860 census (likely a transcription error at Family Search) are the following: male Mounterville C Danforth, male John H Danforth, male Fedrick W Danforth and George T Forbes.[3]

Sarah E Blair was enumerated as wife at Coxes, Cobb County, Georgia for the June 2, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeps house, born 1850 in Georgia and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self William B Blair, daughter Laura E Blair, son William B Blair, son Alonzo E Blair, daughter Arto M Blair, son John T Blair and daughter Willis M Blair.[4]

Sarah Blair was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Militia District 895, Coxes, Cobb County, Georgia for the June 25, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born November 1849 in Georgia and had been married thirty-four years. She was the mother of eleven children of which nine were still living as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William B Blair, son Columbus Blair, son Homer Blair, daughter Cora Blair, daughter Katie Blair and son Honey Blair.[5]

Sarah E Blair was enumerated as wife of the head of household at Mableton - Marietta Road, 6, Coxes, Cobb County, Georgia for the May 6, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1851 in Georgia and had been married forty-three years. She was the mother of eleven children of which eight were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Will B Blair and son Henry B Blair.[6]

Sarah Danforth was listed as the mother of Lon Blair who died August 4, 1919 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia. The father was listed as William Blair.[7]

Sarah Danforth was listed as the mother in the Marietta, Cobb County December 19, 1920 Georgia Death of daughter Katie Gertrude Lowe. Her husband was listed as James Lowe and her father W. B. Blair.[8]

Sarah Elizabeth Blair died February 12, 1930 in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia. Her father was listed as John C Danforth and her husband W B Blair.[9]

Sara E Danforth was listed as the mother of Laura Elizabeth Pair who died September 18, 1940 in Fair Oaks, Cobb County, Georgia. The father was listed as Wm B Blair and the husband Homer F Pair.[10]

Sarah Elizabeth Danforth was listed as the mother of John Tazwell Blair who died July 14, 1949 in Temple, Bell County, Texas. The father was listed as Wm B Blair.[11]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[12] Sarah Elizabeth Danforth Blair is buried at Milford Cemetery in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia.[13]
