The will of James Daniel, dated 10 Oct 1785 at Granville Co NC, mentioned his son John Daniel, son William Daniels, son Reuben Daniel, son Richard Daniel, son Joseph Daniel, son-in-law Edmund Smith, dau Mary Royster and her three daughters—Lucy, Polly and Becky, daughter Ann Daniel, son-in-law David Royster, and his beloved wife Sarah Daniel.[1]
