Biography
Martha (Daniells) Cooley attended Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan, and was a piano teacher. Edward Cooley attended Albion College in Albion, Michigan, and owned and operated a store in Wacousta. He and Martha were members of the Methodist Church. They had seven children. Five died in infancy or early childhood and are buried in unmarked graves in Wacousta Cemetery, Wacousta, Michigan; two lived to maturity:[1]
