Florence Elizabeth Dann Drew died on November 25, 2006 at The Edgewood Centre in Portsmouth, New Hampshire after a lengthy illness. Florence was born in Hyde Park, Mass, to Harry S. and Margaret Kessell Dann. She attended Hyde Park schools before going to work in Boston, Mass, at John Hancock Insurance. There she met Harry S. Drew and they were married in 1941, in Harrington, Maine. They built a home in Sharon, Mass, before moving to Blue Hill, Maine in 1951. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, braiding rugs, and sewing projects. In later years she enjoyed bowling, camping, rockhounding, gardening, creating driftwood/dried flower arrangements and volunteering at the hospital. Florence is survived by her daughter, Patricia Sally Winchenbach and husband Kenneth, of Sedgwick; sister Betty Barren, of Plainville, Mass.; brother Albert Dann, of Stowe, Vermont; sister-in-law Marilyn Torrey, of Blue Hill; four grandchildren: Sara Winchenbach and husband Edward Hamlin, of Mt. Desert; Shari Whelan and husband Devlin, of Sedgwick; Karl Winchenbach and wife Sherrie, of Epping, New Hampshire; Kenneth Winchenbach Walden and wife Amanda, of West Danville, Vermont; and ten great-grandchildren: James, Kalee, April, Michael, Anthony, Kendra, Philip, Seska, Drew and Gideon; and many nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1962; brothers Edward, Lester and Harry Dann; and brother-in-law George "Butch" Barren.
