Biography

Lucinda was born in Boonsboro, Washington County, Maryland to Andrew Danner and Ruanna Weast. Her mother died when she was just five years old, and her maternal grandfather, Henry Weast, named Lucinda in his will.

Lucinda married Charles Augustus Gabe, Jr. in 1868 or 1869. They settled in Hagerstown and were were the parents of eight children.

Lucinda (Danner) Gabe died on 10 March 1928 and was buried in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
