Biography

When Samuel Alexander Danner was born on September 7, 1786, in Surry, North Carolina, his father, Frederick Danner, Sr, was 27 and his mother, Catherine Shermer, was 31. He married Nancy Susan Garner on 5 Mar 1811 and they had nine children together. He then married Nancy Emaline Granger on March 12, 1860, in Davie, North Carolina. He died on December 3, 1881, in Catawba, North Carolina, at the impressive age of 95.
