Vincent Dantzer was born to Herbert Danztzer and Mary LIndeblom at Rush Lake, Saskatchewan, and enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942, and served as a Flying Officer in the Burma Campaign. He left the military in 1946, and began studying economics at the University of Saskatchewan, from which he graduated with an honours degree in 1948. He continued his studies at the University of Toronto, where he earned a Master of Arts in economics. [1]
