Biography
James Darley was born in or near to Wakefield, Yorkshire in Q1 1876 (1) one of twin sons Harry and James, the eight and ninth children born to James Darley and Charlotte (Winterburn) Darley. The following year 1877, his father James Darley died, and his mother Charlotte soon remarried to a John Copley (2), perhaps the best way of providing support for her younger children still at home.
