Biography

Timothy Darling was born in East Kingston, New Hampshire in 1750 to John Darling and Hannah Morse.

ORGANIZATION OF THE PROVISIONAL ARMY OF THE UNITED STATES IN THE ANTICIPATED WAR WITH FRANCE, 1798-1800. TIMOTHY DARLING, (1st) Major, 14th May, 1799; residence, Hopkinton, N. H.; resigned 20th December 1799.

The selectman of Hopkinson purchased 5 acres of land for $300 in 1805 that belonged to Major Darling to add to the burying ground of the Hopkinson.

Major Timothy Darling died at 86 years of age 19 October 1837.
