Amasa and Hannah Darling, natives of New York, who moved to Jackson County, Michigan, in 1834. [1]
Amasa died June 2, 1865, in Spring Arbor, Michigan. From his headstone, we know that his age at death was 82 years. His calculated year of birth would be 1783.
