Biography

Sarah K "Sallie" Darnell was born on 26 Mar 1871^[1] in Marshall County, Tennessee, the daughter of James Henry Darnell (abt.1838-abt.1921) and Delila Margaret (Scott) Darnell (abt.1838-abt.1916).^[2]

She never married.^[2]

Sallie died at the age of 85-86 on 28 Mar 1957^[1] in Marshall County, Tennessee and was later interred at the Old Orchard Cemetery Cemetery in Petersburg, Lincoln, Tennessee.^[2]

Research Note

Her death certificate gives her name as Sarah Katherine Darnell.^[1] On the 1880,^[3] 1910,^[4] and 1920^[5] Census reports, she is listed as "Sarah C Darnell."
