Based on MyHeritage.com (and confirmed by my mother), Bert married Rodman Zwirner. The obit, posted on findagrave, for Bertha (Darnell) Zwirner, follows.

Bertha (nee Darnell) Zwirner, died on June 5, 2004 at the age of 93. Bertha was a longtime resident of Riverton and a member of the Westfield Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends., She was a graduate of George School and Pierce Business School. Wife of the late Rodman, mother of Rodman Zwirner Jr., of Antrim, NH; Clifton D Zwirner of Boston, MA; Ellen A Bruzzese of Riverton, NJ and Mary L Zwirner of Boston, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Memorial meeting for Worship will be at 2 pm Thursday June 24, 2004 at the Westfield Friends Meeting, 2201 Riverton Rd, Cinnaminson NJ 08077.

From email from my mother: Aunt Bert and Uncle Rom had four children (they are your first cousins once removed): Rommy (now likes to be called Rod), Clifton, Ellen, and Mary. Aunt Bert loved baseball. Uncle Rom was of German descent. He liked jazz music, fine wine, and collected antiques. Rommy was very athletic and later joined the Peace Corps. He's the cousin that gave me my famous one golf lesson. He's the little boy in the picture of us sitting on the running board. He and his wife Ruth have come out and stayed with me a couple of times. Clifton (Clif) keeps saying in his Christmas cards that he's going to get to the West Coast one of these years. Ellen still lives in Southern New Jersey. Mary is up in Massachusetts. I believe that Kaaren had some contact with Mary when she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital.
