Biography

George Howard Darwin was born in 1845, in Down, Kent.[1]

He was baptised in Maer, Staffordshire on 23 October 1845, and was the son of Charles Darwin and Emma Wedgwood. [2]

In the 1911 census George (age 65), Professor astronomy, was the married head of household in Newnham Grange, Newnham, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.[3]
