Biography
Mary Davisson was born in 1799 in Greenup, Kentucky. She was a daughter of Josiah Davisson and Lucretia Ann Shinn.[1]
Mary married Isaac Smith on January 16, 1818 in Harrison County, Virginia.[2][3] Together they had at least four children (and likely more), including:
- Samuel Davisson Smith (1821- ?) m. Charlotte Marsh
- Sarah Smith (1829-1898) m. Josiah Davisson
- Leander Smith (1835-1872) m. Rebecca Ogden
- Leonidas Smith (1835-1917) m. Charlotte C Marsh
She died in 1882 in Sardis, Harrison, West Virginia.[1] She is buried in Olive Branch Cemetery in Olive, Harrison, West Virginia.[4]
