Biography
William Davies was born in Stretford, Manchester, in 1814. He was a Blacksmith and a Choir Master from 1830-1877.
He married Hannah Robinson at Manchester Cathedral in 1834, and they had 6 children : John 1835-1889, James 1837-1911, Ann b 1840, William b 1845, Daniel 1847-1904 and Thomas 1851-1928.
