Isaac Davies was born in 1895. He was the son of Edward Davies and Ann Morgans. [1]
In 1901, Isaac was 5. He was living with his parents and four brothers, in Llangelynnin, Merionethshire. Isaac appeared to be the middle child out of the five. Isaac's father was an agricultural labourer. [2]
In 1911, Isaac was seen residing with his parents, two brothers and one sister, in Llangelynnin, Merionethshire. At the age of 15, Isaac was working on a farm. [3]
Previously imported data had an Isaac Davies in the World War 1 Draft Registrations of 1917-1918 in Madison County, Indiana. Noting that this Isaac was also from Wales, it was a possibility, until seeing that the birth date was 13 June 1897 and Isaac's birth was registered in 1895. The only thing included with the record was this: Source Citation: Registration Location: Madison County, Indiana; Roll 1653564; Draft Board: 2. While I doubt this is of any value for this profile, given a specific birth, it may relate to someone else that has been confused with this Isaac.
This Isaac Davies would have been a ripe age for the WW1 Draft, but there is nothing yet to indicate he was drafted in the United States.
