Lucy P. Davis was born at Aurelius, Ohio July 3 1819, daughter of Zenas and Martha (Roby) Davis. [1]
About 1814/15, Zenas Davis, along with his brother-in-law Aaron Lyon, and sister Sally, left New England with a small group to settle in Marietta, Ohio. The journey, by horse drawn covered wagon, took about 35 days. [1]
It is uncertain where Lucy died in 1840 but she is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, Nashua, New Hampshire, as are her parents. [2]
