Uncertain mother

Due to the gaps in records for Albany, it is impossible to verify who Ariaantje's mother was, though due to the supposed date of her marriage, it was more likely to be Cornelia. Arriantje named a daughter Cornelia but may have also named a daughter Margrietje.

Biography

Arriantje was born about 1642 in Fort Nassau, New Netherland (now Albany, New York). She was a daughter of Christopher Davis.

Marriage: : Date: ABT 1662

Davis-15317 and Davids-226 appear to represent the same person because: 15317 is lacking detail. Birth/death dates/places are similar/same.

Davy-1280 and Davids-226 appear to represent the same person because: Davy-1280 is a newly created profile without sources -- much less reliable sources. Based on the dates, location info , and family relationships, it is clear that she is the same person as Davids-226. These need to be merged.

Please be advised that WikiTree profiles of people born before 1700 must no be created without citing reliable sources. Other requirements of pre-1799 certification also need to be heeded.

Davis-15322 and Davids-226 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Thanks! Assuming this is the same person as there's no record of Christopher having two daughters named Ariaa/entje. Edit: And no record of the sons having a daughter named Ariaa/entje.

I replaced the mother on this Davis-15327 profile. The profile formerly showed Martensen-2 as the mother, but the correct mother is De Vos-8 (the first wife).

birth is 2 years after the mothers
The mothers birth date is 5 years before hers. Annatje must be from the first marriage to De Vos.
Birth is before parents marriage date
