109 years old? That seems very unlikely to say the least. According to the book Holden, Mass. Vital Records. the Eleazur Davis that died Oct. 27, 1831 was aged 82, giving him a birth year of about 1749. Since Eleazur & Sarah had a son Eleazur March 22, 1751, that would make him 80 on Oct. 27, 1831. Very close to 82. It seems more likely that the Eleazur Davis that died Oct. 27, 1831 was the son of the Eleazur Davis that was born Aug. 11, 1722.
